I love the questions on the Interest Survey. This is a nonthreatening way to engage the students and at the same time letting you know as their teacher how they are feeling.

Great! Consider what you would want to do to manage all the information these would give you. How might you want to modify them so that the information would help in your planning and differentiation (rather than overwhelm you once you have students' answers!)?

I would read every one of them that's for sure. If I didn't and the student asked me something about the questions I would want them to know that I did read them. I would try to find out the students likes and dislikes and maybe modify the questions to better fit the student.
